Ye Ji Kim, O.D.

Dr. Ye Ji Kim is an optometrist with a background in primary care optometry, pre- and post-operative refractive surgery as well as advanced care and ocular disease. Dr. Kim has experience in providing eye care to not only adults, but also teens and children. Prior to joining the Georgia Eye Associates team, she also observed and assisted in fitting specialty contact lenses. Dr. Kim completed her ocular disease residency at Gainesville Eye Associates after graduating with a Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. While she was completing her education, she also worked as a research assistant for both the Southern College of Optometry and the University of Georgia and received the Charles A. Callaway Endowed Scholarship for three consecutive years in a row, in addition to the Dr. Bernard L. Kahn Memorial Endowed Scholarship. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
